Remembering Mayor Fred D. Thomas: Honoring a Life of Service
Join us for a Remembrance Ceremony in honor of Mayor Fred D. Thomas on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Simi Valley Civic Center Courtyard, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. The ceremony will be held rain or shine.
Mayor Thomas dedicated decades of his life to the betterment of our community through leadership, advocacy, and service. Family, friends, colleagues, and community members will gather to reflect on his life and lasting contributions. Speakers selected by the family will share personal stories and reflections on his impact.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley, Soroptimist International of Simi Valley, or the Simi Valley Police Foundation—organizations that were close to Mayor Thomas’s heart.
All are welcome to attend this special ceremony. No RSVP needed.
